School Counselors at Orchard
Aili Beeli
Aili has been working in the mental health field since 2005 and really enjoys her role as a school counselor. Aili has the pleasure of working with Orchard students in grades K-2 where she covers a variety of social/emotional topics through group work, classroom lessons, and 1:1 time. This is done through literature, role plays, conversations and games. Aili also loves running Lunch Bunches where discussions about emotions, peers, and family fill their time together. It is very thrilling and fulfilling to be a part of a child's growth in their development of self.
Outside of school Aili enjoys participating in outdoor activities with her Swiss husband and their two daughters. They love swimming, hiking, biking, camping and canoeing together. They have also been known to celebrate their Estonian culture with a song or a dance whenever possible.

Kristen Billings
Kristen has been a school counselor since 2012. She works with grades 3, 4, and 5 and on the social/emotional learning team at Orchard School. Kristen runs Lunch Bunches, meets with students on an individual basis, and teaches classroom guidance lessons where various topics are discussed such as mindfulness, social skills, conflict resolution, family changes, and self-esteem. Kristen believes in being available to all students and being an advocate for all students. Kristen enjoys being a part of the social/emotional growth that happens in grades 3-5 and helping to facilitate students' transition to the middle school.
Outside of school Kristen likes to be with her husband and two daughters. Together they like to go for walks and bike rides, kayak and boat in Malletts Bay, enjoy a creemee on the waterfront, or spend the day in the snow sledding, snowshoeing, or skiing followed by a cup of hot cocoa.
