South Burlington School District

The Data Services Team is a part of the Information Technology Department for the South Burlington School District.  

• Data Services is responsible for making sure the data needed for running the District is available on a day-to-day basis.  This includes managing our Student Information System, student demographics such as address, phone numbers and emergency contacts, student assessments (NECAP, FAST, SBAC...).

• Data Services is responsible for servicing several other systems, such as the NEO Learning Management System, our emergency alert system Blackboard Connect and SNAP Health Information System. Without these data systems in place our schools would not be able to function  in today's fast paced environment.

• Data Services provides advanced data analysis for the District and the City in support of the District's mission to provide the highest quality education posssible for our students and in service of our community.  In addition we prepare and submit required reports to the Vermont Agency of Education, the United States Department of Education and other agencies as needed.
