Summer Meals (Morning Snack, Lunch, Afternoon Snack - All included)
Meal Fees: $20 Full week or $5/day
We have received overwhelmingly positive support to offer meals this summer. We will be offering a morning snack/light breakfast and lunch in addition to an afternoon snack (which is already offered free of charge). We will publish a monthly snack/meal calendar in advance and allow for families to sign up ahead of time or day of. Families registering in advance for a full week of meals will pay just $20. Families receiving free and reduced lunch will continue to receive this benefit during the summer months. We will have so many camps going in all different directions, so we will be offering a “Bag Your Own Lunch” 4 days of the week. What this will look like: Each day, your child will bag their lunch upon entering the program. Kids (and parents if you’d like to assist your child) will choose one healthy item from each food group. They will bag all items up, write their name on the bag and place in the fridge. Kids are encouraged to bring their own empty lunch boxes to cut down on waste.
Meals will be available for ALL School's Out Camps.
Typical Daily Menu
Morning snack (offered 7:30 am to 9:00 am)
Homemade Breakfast Bar or Bagel and Choice of Fruit
Bag your Own Lunch 4 days a week – Kids choose one item of each food type (Protein, Fruit or Vegetable, Grain, Dairy and Small Dessert)
Hot Lunch Served by The School’s Out Chef 1 day a week
The summer lunch feedback form is still live if you’d like to provide additional thoughts about this new program.

Our traditional “CORE” camp offers a wide variety of choices so kids are always engaged in a meaningful activity. The camp features 3-4 field trips a week, 3 “club” choices, reading and math “brain blocks” to keep kids minds sharp during the summer months, arts and crafts, physical activities, gardening, water play and more. This summer we will operate CORE camps at each elementary school. CORE camp activities, trips and clubs will be loosely focused on a central theme, but there will be lots of variety in case the theme isn’t your child’s cup of tea.
